OPPO is gearing up for the launch of a new smartphone in its A-series. The company is expected to launch the OPPO A77s soon. There is no official word on the exact launch date of the device. While we wait for that, a new leak has revealed the design of the upcoming OPPO smartphone. The leaked information comes from tipster Sudhanshu Ambhore, who also revealed the specifications of the upcoming budget smartphone.

Based on the leaked specs, it is confirmed that the A77s is a 4G smartphone. It will sport a flat frame design and sport a tall rectangular camera module for the dual-camera setup. let’s take a look at the OPPO A77s specifications, design and other details known so far.

OPPO A77s will be a new budget smartphone from the company launching in various markets. The phone is likely to launch in India too. It will come with a flat frame and a plastic body. The phone will sport a water-drop notch at the top of the display for the front camera. According to the leaked specs shared by Ambhore, the A77s will sport a 6.56-inch HD+ display. The LCD screen will support a 90Hz refresh rate and come with a 100 per cent DCI-P3 colour gamut.


On the back, there is a dual-camera setup. The phone will feature a 50MP main camera and a 2MP secondary sensor. The device also features an 8MP front camera with 25 levels of Portrait mode support.

Under the hood, there is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 SoC. The phone will launch with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. It will also support virtual RAM up to 5GB. The leaked details further reveal that the A77s will pack a 5000mAh battery and support 33W SuperVOOC charging.

It will launch in two colours – Sky Blue and Starry Black. The A77s will weigh about 187 grams and measure 7.99mm in terms of thickness. It is also IP54 rated for water and dust resistance. Lastly, the phone runs Android 12-based ColorOS 12.1 out of the box.
