OPPO A78 4G Spotted on Geekbench With Snapdragon 680 SoC Ahead of Rumoured Launch on July 7th

Oppo, earlier this year, launched the Oppo A78 5G smartphone in the Indian market. The brand now appears to be prepping up to launch the 4G variant of the smartphone – the Oppo A78 4G. Oppo is rumoured to introduce the Oppo A78 4G on July 7. Ahead of rumoured launch, we have spotted the upcoming Oppo A78 on the Geekbench benchmark database.

The Oppo A78 Geekbench listing reveals some of its key specifications including the presence of a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 processor. Let us take a look at the Oppo A78 4G Geekbench benchmark scores and key specifications.

The Oppo A78 made an appearance on the Geekbench benchmark database with the model number CPH2565. The handset managed to score 411 points in the single-core round of the Geekbench 6 benchmark test. Whereas, in the multi-core round, it scored 1263 points.

The Oppo A78 Geekbench listing reveals the presence of an octa-core Qualcomm processor with the codename ‘bengal‘ and  2.40GHz peak frequency. This suggests that the Oppo A78 will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 processor.

The listing further reveals the presence of 8GB of memory under the hood. Also, as per the listing, the Oppo A78 will come pre-loaded with Android 13 out of the box. However, we can expect it to be topped with ColorOS skin.

Last week, MySmartPrice exclusively revealed the marketing posters of the upcoming Oppo A78. The marketing posters suggested that the upcoming A-series smartphone from Oppo will feature Oppo Glow Diamond Matrix design and will come in Misty Black and Aqua Green colour options.

The Oppo A78 will feature a 6.43-inch AMOLED screen with a Full HD+ (1080 x 2400 pixel) resolution, a 90Hz refresh rate, and a punch hole notch. It will be equipped with a 5000mAh battery unit which will be backed by 67W SuperVOOC fast charging support.
