The Oppo A9 2020 was launched in the Indian market on September 11. Back then, the brand launched the smartphone in two color variants – Marine Green and Space Purple. And today, Oppo has launched a new color variant of the A9 2020 in India – Gradient White Teal.
This color variant is available for both the memory configurations (4GB RAM + 128GB storage, and 8GB RAM + 128GB storage) of the smartphone. As you might expect, the new color variant costs the same as the other two color options of the Oppo A9 2020. The 4GB RAM variant costs INR 15,990, whereas, the 8GB RAM variant costs INR 19,990.
According to various reports online, the new color variant is available to purchase from Oppo authorized offline stores. However, the new color variant hasn’t been listed on any major online shopping website yet, at least according to our research.
Oppo A9 2020: Specifications
The Oppo A9 2020 offers a 6.5-inch IPS LCD with HD+ resolution. According to Oppo, the screen to body ratio is 89%, and the display offers 480 nits brightness.
The Oppo A9 2020 has a quad-camera setup at the rear. This camera setup has a 48MP primary camera with f/1.8 aperture, 8MP ultrawide camera with f/2.25 aperture, 2MP macro camera, and a 2MP depth sensor. The primary camera in the quad-camera setup can record 4K videos at 30 frames per second. There is a 16MP camera at the front for selfies.
The Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 SoC powers the Oppo A9 2020. And on the software side of things, you get Android 9 Pie with ColorOS 6.0.1. The phone offers a 5000mAh battery. Wired connectivity options include USB Type-C port and 3.5mm audio jack. Wireless connectivity options, on the other hand, include a dual-SIM cellular option with 4G and VoLTE, dual-band Wi-Fi ac, and Bluetooth v5.0.
Interestingly, the device has two speakers. However, we don’t know for sure if these speakers are arranged in stereo or mono channels. In terms of security and privacy, the device has a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner.
