Not only has Oppo launched the budget Oppo A8 smartphone, but it has also launched the Oppo A91 smartphone. Unlike the more budget-oriented Oppo A8, the Oppo A91 is priced a tad bit higher, but it comes with better specifications as well. As of now, the device is available in China, and the company is yet to give any confirmation regarding the global launch. Let’s dive into the price of the Oppo A91 and the specifications it has in store for us.
Oppo A91: Price
The Oppo A91 comes in just one memory option – 8GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage. The same can be bought for CNY 1,999 in China which translates to somewhere around USD 299 or around ₹20,999. The reservations for the device have already begun, but the actual sales will commence from December 26 only.
Oppo A91: Specifications and Features
The Oppo A91 features a 6.4-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a tall 20:9 aspect ratio. Up top, we can find a waterdrop notch which sports a 16MP selfie camera. Since the screen is an AMOLED panel, Oppo could manage to integrate an in-display fingerprint scanner with the Oppo A91. Moving on to the back of the device, we get a total of four cameras – a 48MP primary shooter, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, a 2MP macro shooter, and a 2MP depth sensor. The Oppo A91 comes in three gradient colour variants – Dark Blue, Red, and White.
Speaking of the processing power, the Oppo A91 has a MediaTek Helio P70 sitting at the helm which, as said, is paired with eight gigs of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The internal storage has scope for further expansion courtesy of the external SD card support it comes with. The Oppo A91 features a new hardware-level dimming feature and a nighttime low light feature without flash. What’s more? The Oppo A91 comes with TÜV Rheinland’s eye protection certification as well. For gaming, the Oppo A91 features a Game Boost 2.0 mode. Lastly, there’s this K song back 2.0 mode for music playback.
Speaking of the battery of the device, the Oppo A91 is fueled with a 4,000mAh battery which supports 30W VOOC 3.0 fast charging. On the software front, the Oppo A91 runs on Android 9 Pie out of the box with the company’s proprietary ColorOS 6.1 on top of it.
