Oppo is prepping up to launch two new handsets in the A-series – the Oppo A96 4G and the Oppo A76 4G in the Indian market. Yesterday, we exclusively revealed the renders and the key specifications of the upcoming A-series devices.
Now, in a new development, tipster Sudhanshu Ambhore has revealed some more details about the upcoming Oppo A96 4G. As per the latest information, the Oppo A96 4G will come pre-loaded with Android 11. Let us take a closer look at the details.

Oppo A96 Specifications and Features
The Oppo A96 will sport a 6.59-inch Full HD+ display with a 1080 × 2412 pixel resolution and 90Hz refresh rate. The top left corner of the display panel on the device will house the front selfie shooter inside a punch-hole notch. It will be an AMOLED display panel as we revealed earlier.
The upcoming A96 4G will sport an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 processor under the hood. The Snapdragon 680 is built on a 6nm fabrication process and brings with it an integrated Adreno 610 GPU. With the Snapdragon 680 inside, the upcoming A-series device will compete against the likes of Redmi Note 11 and Realme 9i.
The A96 will offer a dual-rear camera setup and a LED flash. The primary sensor on the device will be a 50MP sensor which will be accompanied by a 2MP sensor. For selfies and video calls, it will rely on a 16MP selfie snapper.
The upcoming A-series device will be equipped with a 5000mAh battery unit and will support 33W SuperVOOC fast charging. It will measure 164.4 × 75.7 × 8.4mm and will weigh 191grams. It will retail in 8GB + 256GB storage configuration. Additionally, the handset will also support 5GB of Virtual RAM as well.
The A96 will boot Android 11 based ColorOS 11.1. It will retail in two colour options – Starry Black and Sunset Blue.
