The Oppo A98 5G is tipped to sport a 120Hz LTPS LCD display with a Full HD+ (2400 x 1080 pixel) resolution and 391ppi pixel density. The display panel, as per the leak, will measure 6.7 inches diagonally and will feature Panda Glass protection. It will make room for the selfie shooter inside a centered punch-hole notch.

Under the hood, the Oppo A98 5G will reportedly sport an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 processor. The Snapdragon 695 is an octa-core processor and brings with it an Adreno 619 GPU. The smartphone is said to come paired with 8GB LPDDR4X of memory and 256GB of internal storage. It might boot ColorOS 13, based on Android 13.

Talking about the optics, the Oppo A98 5G is said to offer a triple-rear camera setup including a 64MP primary shooter. It might get accompanied by a 2MP depth sensor, a 2MP macro lens, and an LED flash. It will not feature OIS support. However, as per the leak, the device will feature software based EIS (Electonic Image Stablization). The smartphone is tipped to pack a 32MP front snapper for selfies and video calls.

The upcoming A-series smartphone will reportedly be backed by a 5000mAh battery. The smartphone is said to offer support for 67W SuperVOOC fast charging. On the security front, it might offer a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.

The Oppo A98 5G is tipped to weigh around 192 grams and measure 165.6 x 76.1 x 8.2mm. The smartphone will reportedly feature an IPX4 rating. It is said to feature a microSD card slot as well.
