OPPO Ace 2 with Snapdragon 865 SoC, 8GB RAM Passes Through Geekbench Ahead of the Launch

Chinese smartphone manufacturer OPPO is gearing up for the launch of its OPPO Ace 2 smartphone. OPPO Ace 2 will launch in China on April 13, 2020 and will be a 5G handset. The official renders of the device were previously spotted by us on the Chinese e-commerce website JD.com. Before that, the OPPO Ace 2 had appeared on the Chinese TENAA certification website, which gave us a working clue as to what some of its key specifications would be. Today, we were able to spot OPPO Ace 2 on the Geekbench database website. Take a look at the Geekbench scores of the OPPO Ace 2 smartphone and find out what we know about the upcoming OPPO smartphone so far.

As seen on the Geekbench database website, the OPPO Ace 2 (with the model number OPPO PDHM00) has managed to pull off 4,024 in the single-core test and 12,045 in the multi-core test. Readers must be made aware that the OPPO Ace 2 has been spotted on the Geekbench test version 3.2.1, so the scores are to be observed accordingly.

The Geekbench listing of the OPPO Ace 2 further confirms that the device will be launched in an 8GB RAM variant. Furthermore, the device will ship with the latest Android 10 OS out of the box with the company’s in-house ColorOS 7 skin baked on top of it. Powering the OPPO Ace 2 smartphone will be a 1.80 GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor, which will be assisted by 8GB/12GB of RAM and 128GB/256GB of onboard storage. We are not entirely sure as to whether or not the OPPO Ace 2 will feature storage expansion. As far as the battery of the device is concerned, the OPPO Ace 2 will boast a 1,955mAh dual-cell battery, which will have scope for up to 65W of fast charging and 40W of wireless charging provided by, of course, the OPPO 40W AirVOOC wireless charger. Coming to the display of the device, the OPPO Ace 2 will flaunt a 6.5-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a single punch-hole cutout for the selfie snapper, which will be located in the top left corner of the device’s display. Moving around on the rear of the device, the OPPO Ace 2 will sport a quadruple rear camera setup, which will be located inside a circular module and there will be an LED flash, which will sit on the right side of the camera module.
