Chinese smartphone manufacturer OPPO is gearing up for the launch of its OPPO Ace 2 5G smartphone in China on April 13, 2020. The company has already talked a lot about its upcoming Ace 2 smartphone. As a matter of fact, we have received pretty much all of its key specifications in the past, courtesy of the Chinese TENAA certification website we were able to spot the device on. The company’s official website has now made the product page for the OPPO Ace 2 smartphone live. The OPPO Ace 2 will launch in China (most likely via an online launch event). Alongside the OPPO Ace 2, the company will also unveil the OPPO Enco W31 wireless earbuds during the event. The OPPO Enco W31 wireless earbuds were earlier announced globally (and in India) during the launch of the OPPO Reno 3 Pro smartphone. OPPO Ace 2 and OPPO Enco W31 wireless to Launch in China on April 13
Starting with the OPPO Enco W31 wireless earbuds, the Enco W31 wireless earbuds come with an in-ear design. They are water and dust resistant. The OPPO Enco W31 wireless earbuds flaunt dual composite thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) build and graphene diaphragms and come with two distinct audio modes – bass mode and balance mode. There are three color variants to choose from – pink, white, and black.
The OPPO Enco W31 wireless earbuds feature anti-wind noise chambers and are equipped with two internal microphones on each side. Plus, there’s an environmental noise cancellation feature, which blocks out background noise during phone calls.
Coming to OPPO Ace 2, the device will boast a 6.5-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display. The display of the device will come with a single punch-hole cutout for the front camera. The punch-hole will be located in the top left corner of the display. The device will measure 160 x 75.4 x 8.6 mm and weigh in at 185 grams. Moving around on the rear of the device, the OPPO Ace 2 will feature a quadruple rear camera setup, which will be located inside a circular module. An LED flash will sit on the right side of the camera module.
Powering the OPPO Ace 2 will be a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 5G processor, which will be paired with 8GB/12GB of RAM and 128GB/256GB of onboard storage. It is unclear as to whether or not the OPPO Ace 2 will have scope for further expansion. On the software side of things, the OPPO Ace 2 will run on the latest Android 10 OS out of the box with the company’s proprietary ColorOS 7 skin baked on top of it.
