The Oppo Enco Buds launched last year in India received a good response because of their affordability and good battery life. It seems that Oppo is working on another pair of affordable earbuds, which could be known as the Oppo Enco Buds 2. The Enco Buds 2 were spotted on the Telecommunications and Digital Government (TDRA) certification website which hints that the launch could happen soon.

The Oppo Enco Buds 2 will be the successor to Enco Buds and are expected to offer good battery life, low-latency gaming mode, comfortable design, and more. While the company hasn’t confirmed anything about the Bluetooth device, here’s everything we know about it.

The Oppo Enco Buds 2 True Wireless Earbuds have been spotted on the TRDA website. In case you don’t know, TRDA, or known as Telecommunications and Digital Governments is a telecommunication and digital website belonging to the government of the UAE. The latest pair of earbuds are listed with the model number ETE41. The company will be marketing its upcoming earbuds with the name, Oppo Enco Buds 2. The website doesn’t reveal much information about the device. With its listing on TRDA, it is likely that the device will launch soon.

Oppo Enco Buds Specifications

Oppo launched the Enco buds in India last year in September and these buds are available at a price of Rs 1,999 on Flipkart. They are powered by 8mm dynamic drivers and feature a two-layer composite diaphragm. It comes with support for the AAC codec for audio delivery and supports Bluetooth 5.2 for its connectivity standard. The Enco buds have an 80ms low latency mode for better gaming.

In terms of battery life, the Enco Buds offer 24 hours of cumulative playback time including the charging case. The earbuds offer six hours of playback on a full charge, and the earbuds and the charging case together take 2.5 hours to charge fully. Its successor, Oppo Enco Buds 2 are expected to come with incremental upgrades. It would be interesting to see if Oppo would keep the price tag of its upcoming earbuds under Rs 2,000 in India.
