OPPO is hosting an event next week to unveil the Reno 8 series smartphones in India. The company will launch the OPPO Reno 8 and the Reno 8 Pro devices on July 18th in India. Along with the launch of the smartphone duo, the company will also launch new true wireless earbuds in India on the same stage called the OPPO Enco X2.
The OPPO Enco X2 is the successor to the OPPO Enco X from 2021. The Enco X was one of the best premium TWS last year. The Enco X2 was unveiled in China earlier this year in Feburary along with OPPO’s first tablet, the Oppo Pad. The Enco X2 will be available on Flipkart in India. Let’s take a look at the OPPO Enco X2 in detail.
OPPO Enco X2: Features and Specifications
The Oppo Enco X2 are in-ear style earbuds powered by Bluetooth 5.2. These buds also support Bluetooth low latency (94ms) dual transmission support and a 10-meter wireless range. As for the design, each bud weighs 4.7 grams and overall as a package, the Enco X2 weighs 56.5 grams. The buds come with an IP54 dust and water resistance rating for protection against sweat, rain, and dust.
In the audio department, there is an 11mm moving coil driver unit and a secondary 6mmflat diaphragm unit. These buds have 118dB@1kHz sensitivity and support LHDC, SBC, and AAC codecs. There is also Oppo’s proprietary Super DBEE 3.0 that brings in improved sound quality, low-frequency audio, and more. They also support Hi-Res wireless audio. Like the last gen, these are also co-created by Dynaudio.
The Enco X2 also comes with active noise cancellation with smart dynamic noise reduction, deep noise reduction, moderate noise reduction, mild noise reduction, transparency mode, enhanced vocals, and noise reduction off modes. For noise cancellation, these come with three microphones and also bone conduction AI call noise reduction. These buds offer up to 45dB noise cancellation.
In terms of battery life, the Enco X2 are rated to last up to 5 hours with ANC turned on and up to 6.5 hours with ANC turned off. With the included charging case, the battery life goes up to 20 hours and 27 hours respectively. The TWS supports Type-C charging as well as Qi wireless charger.
In China, the Oppo Enco X2 are priced at CNY 999 in China (around Rs 11,900). The TWS comes in Mirror Night Black and Frost White colour options.
