OPPO has launched its first foldable smartphone for the global market. The company has launched the OPPO Find N2 Flip 5G in many other international markets. The Find N2 Flip was launched late last year in China as the company’s first clamshell-style foldable smartphone. The device features premium hardware under the hood.
The Find N2 Flip comes with a MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ SoC. The 4nm SoC is paired with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. It also has a fairly tall foldable display, which is also ample bright. Let’s take a look at the OPPO Find N2 Flip price, specifications and other details announced at the event.
OPPO Find N2 Flip Price in India and Specifications
The OPPO Find N2 Flip has been launched in a single 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage option. It is priced at £849 (roughly Rs 84,400). The Find N2 Flip has been launched in Astral Black and Moonlit Purple colour options.
The phone is confirmed to launch in India. OPPO will announce the India pricing of the Find N2 Flip soon.
The new OPPO foldable smartphone features premium build materials. The device has a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 5. It weighs about 191 grams. When folded, the Find N2 Flip measures 85.5mm x 75.2mm x 16.02mm. When in an unfolded state, the device measures 166.2mm x 75.2mm x 7.45mm.
The Find N2 Flip has a beefy 4300mAh battery. It also supports 44W fast charging out of the box. There is a tall 6.8-inch AMOLED display with support for a 120Hz refresh rate and a 21:9 aspect ratio. There is a hole-punch cutout at the top for the front camera. The display offers a 1080 x 2520-pixel resolution.
The Find N2 Flip also has a tall cover display. There is a 3.26-inch cover display with a 720 x 382-pixel resolution. The outer display refreshes at 60Hz and has a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass.
Under the hood, the Find N2 Flip has a MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ SoC. The flagship series SoC is based on a 4nm fabrication process and also comes with a Mali-G710 MC10 GPU. OPPO also claims that the 4300mAh battery in the Flip foldable phone can offer a 25 per cent charge in 10 minutes.
The device has a dual-camera setup next to the cover display. There is a 50MP Sony IMX890 primary camera and an 8MP Sony IMX355 ultra-wide sensor. For selfies, the Find N2 Flip has a 32MP Sony IMX 709 sensor.
Other features include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, dual speakers with Dolby Atmos, Bluetooth 5.3, Wi-Fi 6, an IPX4 rating for water resistance, etc. The Find N2 Flip boots on Android 13-based ColorOS 13 out of the box.
