Oppo Find N3 is set to make its official debut on October 19, the company has confirmed. Ahead of the launch, Oppo posted official photos of the smartphone on the Chinese microblogging site Weibo, giving us a good look at the upcoming foldable device.
Oppo Find N3 will be announced at an event on October 19 in China at 2:30pm local time or 12:00am IST. The smartphone will likely remain exclusive to the Chinese markets. For various other markets globally, the OnePlus Open smartphone will be launched on the same day, which is the same smartphone as the Oppo Find N3. This was confirmed by OnePlus Founder and Chief Product Officer of OPPO, Pete Lau.
OnePlus Open, which is the company’s first foldable smartphone will be launched on October 19 in India at 7.30pm IST. Lau said that OnePlus Open and OPPO Find N3 will launch simultaneously in different markets to maintain the synergy and vision between the two brands.
Alongside the Oppo Find N3, the Find N3 Flip will also make its global debut. To recall, the smartphone was announced in China in August.
Oppo Find N3 Official Renders Shared Ahead Of October 19 Launch
Oppo Find N3 has been revealed in two images, of which one shows that the smartphone will sport a book-style foldable design. The look of the Find N3 is quite similar to its predecessor, the Find N2, which was announced in China in December last year.
Further, a punch-hole cutout can be seen on the upper right corner of the inner display. The bezels on the sides of the display are noticeable, though the crease at the fold looks seamless. An alert slider on the left edge is visible as well. Oppo Find N3 will sport curved edges and volume rocker keys on the right edge.
Oppo Find N3 Expected Specifications
Oppo Find N3 full specifications have been leaked as well. The smartphone is said to sport a 7.82-inch OLED primary display with a resolution of 2268 × 2440 pixels. The secondary display on the device is expected to measure around 6.31 inches and it could have a resolution of 2484 × 1116 pixels.

The smartphone is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, which will make its debut later this year. The top-end storage variant is rumoured to offer up to 24GB of RAM, coupled with 1TB of storage. A 3C certification has revealed that Oppo Find N3 could be backed by a 4,805mAh battery, with support for 100W fast charging.
In terms of camera, the Oppo Find N3 is said to sport a triple rear camera setup with a 48MP primary camera, a 48MP ultrawide lens, and a 64MP telephoto sensor.
OnePlus Open Specifications (Leaked)
As for OnePlus Open, it is said to come with similar specifications as the Oppo Find N3. Given the two devices are the same, key specifications of the smartphone leaked previously give us slightly more information.
For instance, the primary display will have a refresh rate of 120Hz and it will have an aspect ratio of 8.4:9 aspect ratio. The cover display will also have the same refresh rate and the aspect ratio of the screen will be 18:9.
The 64MP telephoto lens at the back could support 3x zoom. The front camera on the foldable part will be a 20MP one, while the cover could get a 32MP camera. The smartphones are said to run Android 13-based OxygenOS 13.1.
