OPPO Find X2 Launched in India with Snapdragon 865 SoC, 65W SuperVOOC 2.0 Flash Charge Support

The OPPO Find X2 has been officially launched in India. But its feature-packed, more expensive sibling the Find X2 Pro might not officially come to India

OPPO has introduced its much-awaited flagship-grade Find X2 series smartphones in India earlier today. The lineup, which includes the OPPO Find X2 and the OPPO Find X2 Pro, has been around for a while in global markets but now sees officialdom here in India. However, OPPO only seems to have launched the OPPO Find X2 in the country as of today. This phone has flagship-grade specifications just like the Pro edition and is a pretty capable handset in itself. OPPO has not revealed how soon the phone will go on sale in India, but we can expect the device to go on sale soon. OPPO also talked about the Find X2 Pro Automobili Lamborghini Edition but maintained silence over the possibility of its launch in the country

The OPPO Find X2 comes in a single variant in the country that gets 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. There are two color options; Black (Ceramic) and Ocean (Glass). The gets a price tag of INR 64,990 in India. The phone is all set to go on sale in the country via Amazon, and the e-commerce platform currently has a ‘Notify Me’ option, but there is no word as yet as to when the device will actually go on sale in the country.

OPPO Find X2 Specifications

The Oppo Find X2 is a true-blue flagship and is near identical to its brawnier, more expensive sibling. The handset features the same 6.7-inch QHD+ (1440×3168 pixels) Ultra Vision display that the Pro edition gets. This OLED panel supports 120Hz refresh rate and up to 240Hz touch sampling rate. Powering the Find X2 is the powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC paired with ample 12GB of RAM.

The camera setup on the Find X2 includes a 48-megapixel primary camera that uses the Sony IMX586 sensor mated to an f/1.7 lens, a 12-megapixel secondary camera with the Sony IMX708 sensor with an f/2.2 lens, and a 13-megapixel tertiary sensor with an f/2.4 lens. At the front, the phone gets by with a 32-megapixel selfie camera sensor nestled within a punch hole.

The OPPO Find X2 gets a 4200mAh battery that supports 65W SuperVOOC Flash Charge technology, which is capable of charging the phone from 0 to 100 percent in less than 40 minutes. Connectivity options on the device include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth v5.1, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC, and USB Type-C. Note that like other Find X series devices, the Find X2 and the X2 Pro does not support memory expansion using microSD cards.

As expected of an OPPO device, the OPPO Find X2 runs the latest version of ColorOS 7 based on Android 10.  The Indian version of the Find X2 gets several India centric custom features as well, according to Manoj Kumar, Senior Principal Engineer, OPPO ColorOS.
