The launch of the OPPO Find X2 and the OPPO Find X2 Pro smartphones is delayed because of the Mobile World Congress 2020 being called off. That said, the company has already promised to launch the OPPO Find X2 smartphone sometime in March 2020. Now, a new leak has popped up on the internet, which has revealed the launch date of the device. If the report is anything to go by, the OPPO Find X2 will launch on March 6, 2020. Furthermore, it also suggests that OPPO will likely unveil its first-ever smartwatch during the same event. Let’s have a look at what we know about the OPPO Find X2 smartphone so far.
As per the exclusive report by PlayfulDroid, the OPPO Find X2 smartphone will likely launch on March 6. The source has leaked a promotional poster for the same, which reveals the launch date. We, however, cannot say for sure as to how legitimate the leaked teaser image is, so one might as well take this news with a slight grain of salt before the company gives an official stamp on the same. The source further predicted that the company’s first-ever smartwatch might also hit commercial shelves during the same event. OPPO has been teasing its smartwatch for quite a while now and it makes complete sense that the company decides to unveil it alongside its forthcoming flagship lineup of devices.
As far as the specifications of the OPPO Find X2 go, we have pretty much everything we need to know. Notably, the OPPO Find X2 smartphone was recently listed by an online retailer, which has shed highlights on some of its key specifications. The OPPO Find X2 is tipped to feature a 6.5-inch 2K AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The OPPO Find X2 will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor, which will be paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The device will most likely be launched in more memory variants. Speaking of variants, the OPPO Find X2 will be available in Blue Ocean and Blue Sea Night paint jobs.
For the camera enthusiasts out there, the OPPO Find X2 will sport a triple rear camera setup – a 48MP primary sensor, an 8MP secondary lens (which will most likely be an ultra-wide sensor), and a 13MP sensor, which could be a telephoto lens. At the front, the OPPO Find X2 will feature a 32MP selfie snapper, embedded underneath a single punch-hole cutout.
Coming to the battery of the device, the OPPO Find X2 smartphone will feature a 4,065mAh battery, which will have support for fast charging. In terms of OS, the OPPO Find X2 will run on the latest Android 10 OS out of the box with the company’s in-house ColorOS 7 baked on top of it. The retailer listing also hints that the OPPO Find X2 will be launched in both 4G and 5G variants.
There is no word on the potential price tag the OPPO Find X2 smartphone will carry, but the launch date is not too far from now, so we won’t have to wait for too long to know the same.
