Oppo is expected to launch its new Find X-series flagship smartphones later this year. If the rumour mill is to be believed, the Find X5 series will launch in February or March 2022. Oppo is expected to launch at least two smartphones under the series, the Find X5, and a Pro model. Oppo has not confirmed the official launch date yet. While we wait for that, a new leak has revealed some details of the Find X5 series.
A new leak by Digital Chat Station (DCS) has revealed the key specs of the Oppo Find X5 Pro. The tipster has now deleted the post but tipster Abhishek Yadav managed to take the screenshot before it was taken down. Let’s take a look at the Oppo Find X5 Pro specifications, features and other details.
Oppo Find X5 Pro specifications
Oppo Find X5 Pro will be Oppo’s top-tier flagship smartphone of 2022. According to the leaked specifications, the upcoming Oppo smartphone will come with an LTPO 2.0 display, similar to the OnePlus 10 Pro. The phone will also sport a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a 2K resolution. The screen is slightly curved on the sides and also features a hole-punch cutout at the top left corner, according to previously leaked design renders.
As expected, the Find X5 Pro will feature a 120Hz refresh rate display that will make use of that LTPO tech to switch between 1Hz and 120Hz. For selfies and video calls, the phone will have a 32MP front camera sensor. The camera setup on the back will include a 50MP Sony IMX766 main camera sensor with optical image stabilisation (OIS) support. The same sensor will be used for ultrawide shooting as well with a wider focal length. There will also be a 13MP camera, which could be used as a telephoto shooter to complete the triple-camera setup.
Under the hood, the phone will draw power from a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC. The phone will also pack a 5000 mAh battery and is said to support 80W wired fast charging. In addition to this, the device will support 50W wireless charging.
Oppo will also include its newly unveiled MariSilicon X chip, which it unveiled at the Oppo INNO Day 2021. The new imaging Neural Processing Unit (NPU) is built on a 6nm process and claimed to offer improved performance and power efficiency.
As of now, there is no word on the official launch date. However, we can expect more details to surface online in the coming days.
