Oppo is working on the launch of the Find X5 series launch in China. The company is expected to launch at least two flagship smartphones. These include the Find X5 and X5 Pro. There could be a Lite variant in the works but it might launch later this year. Meanwhile, the new Oppo flagship smartphones have visited the TRDA certification website. The camera specs of the vanilla Find X5 have also leaked online.
The devices are expected to launch soon in China. Following the China launch, we can expect them to hit other markets as well. We say so as the vanilla model is listed on the Global Certification Forum. While we wait for the official launch date, let’s take a look at the Oppo Find X5, X5 Pro specifications, features, and other details leaked online.
Oppo Find X5, Find X5 Pro TRDA
The Oppo Find X5 series will launch in February or March 2022 in China, according to various reports surfaced on the web. Ahead of the launch, both devices have visited the TRDA website. The listing reveals that the vanilla Find X5 has the model number CPH2307, whereas the Pro model has the model number CPH2305.
In addition to this, the camera specs of the vanilla model have leaked online as well. It will have a 50MP main camera which will produce 12.6MP pixel-binned images. The camera will support Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS) and Electronic Image Stabilisation (EIS). It will have an f/1.8 aperture and a 24.6mm focal length. At the front, the device will have a 32MP front camera, which will be pixel-binned to 8.1MP. The front camera of the vanilla Find X5 supports EIS and has an f/2.4 aperture.
Other details of both devices have leaked in the past. The Find X5 Pro will have the same 50MP main camera and will have an f/1.7 aperture. As per reports, the phone will feature a Sony IMX766 sensor. It will also have a 50MP ultra-wide camera and a 13MP telephoto camera with 2x zoom.
Both phones are rumoured to support 80W fast charging and pack a 5000 mAh battery. The Pro model could feature a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC. Oppo is also rumoured to be testing a Dimensity 9000-variant of the vanilla X5. However, recent reports suggest that the device will come with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset.
At the front, the Pro model will have a 2K AMOLED display that is 6.7-inch tall. It has a curved screen and an LTPO 2.0 panel. The vanilla model will have the same screen size but come with flat sides and a Full HD+ resolution. More details of the devices should surface online in the coming days.
