Oppo has confirmed the launch of its new flagship smartphones. The company will unveil the Oppo Find X5 series worldwide on February 24. At least two premium smartphones, namely the Find X5 and Find X5 Pro are expected to launch at the global event. Oppo has confirmed the design and revealed some key details of the devices ahead of the launch.

A couple of new teasers today confirmed the performance unit details of the upcoming Oppo flagship. The Oppo Find X5 series is officially confirmed to have two variants with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 and Mediatek Dimensity 9000 flagship mobile processors. Oppo Find X5 Series Performance Unit

Oppo Find X5 and Find X5 Pro launch has been confirmed for the global market. Oppo has also confirmed the processor details of the device. As expected, the Find X5 series will feature Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset. They will also come with Oppo’s MariSilicon X NPU, which was unveiled at the Oppo Inno Day 2021 in December.

A recent leak revealed that the Find X5 Pro with Dimensity 9000 SoC was also in the works which has now been confirmed. The company might keep this variant exclusive to the China market. The leak also revealed other details of the upcoming Oppo flagships.

Specifications and Features

The Find X5 Pro global variant will feature a 6.7-inch 2K AMOLED display. The 10-bit display will have a 2K resolution. Oppo will also use an LTPO 2.0 tech for a variable refresh rate support of 1Hz-120Hz. The curved screen will also come with HDR10+ certification.

On the back, the device has a triple-camera setup. It will have a 50MP Sony IMX766 sensor for wide shots, a 50MP sensor for ultrawide shots, and a 13MP telephoto camera. For selfies, the phone will come with a 32MP Sony IMX709 front camera sensor. The device will pack a 5000 mAh battery with 80W SuperVOOC charging, 50W wireless charging.

Oppo Find X5 will come with a Snapdragon 888 SoC and Oppo’s MariSilicon X NPU. It will feature the same 50MP Sony IMX766 sensor found on the Pro model. The phone will have a 6.55-inch 10-bit AMOLED display with features like a Full HD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ certification, etc. Unlike the Pro model, the vanilla Find X5 will have a flat display.

The device will also pack a smaller 4800 mAh battery with 80W fast charging, 30W wireless charging support.
