OPPO Find X6 Series Officially Confirmed to Launch Later this Month; Camera Module Design Teased

OPPO has teased the launch of the Find X6 series officially. The company has confirmed that it will launch the Oppo Find X6 series later this month in China. The Find X6 series is the company’s upcoming flagship smartphone lineup which will be available in select global markets in the coming weeks. OPPO has not confirmed the official launch date yet. The teaser invite (via) also hints at the camera module design of the Find X6 series.

OPPO is rumoured to launch its upcoming flagship phones with a circular camera module design on the back. The camera module is quite huge and is said to house a triple-camera setup. Let’s take a look at the OPPO Find X6 series specifications, features and other details known so far.

OPPO Find X6 Series Launch Confirmed: What You Need to Know

The OPPO Find X6 series will include two premium smartphones. The Find X6 Pro will pack top-of-the-line hardware, whereas the Find X6 will be a trimmed-down version of the flagship. OPPO’s teaser does not reveal the camera setup but shows the camera module ring on the back. The phones are rumoured to sport the same camera module design.

OPPO also did not reveal the launch date in its teaser poster. However, a recent leak by tipster Digital Chat Station revealed that the phones could debut in China on March 21.

The Find X6 Pro is said to get a new 1-inch camera sensor on the back. It will use the same 50MP Sony IMX989 camera sensor found in the likes of the Vivo X90 Pro Plus and the Xiaomi 13 Pro 5G. The Find X6 Pro’s triple-camera setup is also said to feature a 50MP Sony IMX890 ultra-wide camera and a 50MP Sony IMX890 periscope camera.

The vanilla Find X6, on the other hand, is said to feature a 50MP Sony IMX890 camera sensor, a Samsung JN1 50MP ultra-wide camera and a Sony IMX890 50MP telephoto camera.

Both devices will feature a 32MP Sony IMX709 main camera sensor. The Find X6 Pro is said to feature a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, whereas the Find X6 will feature a MediaTek Dimensity 9200 SoC.

In terms of battery and fast charging, the Find X6 Pro will get superior hardware. The Pro model is said to pack a 5000mAh battery with 100W fast charging and wireless charging support. The standard model will have a 4800mAh battery with 80W wired fast charging support.

The Find X6 Pro is also said to get an IP68 rating, whereas the vanilla flagship will come with an IP54 rating. On the front, the Find X6 is rumoured to feature a display with a 2772*1240-pixel resolution. The screen will support an adaptive refresh rate that switches between 40Hz and 120Hz. The Find X6 Pro is also said to feature the brightest display on any phone. As per a recent leak, the 6.8-inch 2K AMOLED display will have a peak brightness of 2500 nits and refresh between 1Hz and 120Hz
