The company entered the India Android tablet with OPPO Pad Air this year and will launch a new tablet in India in early 2023. In addition, the company is also planning to bring the Watch 3 smartwatch to India.
According to 91mobiles, OPPO India will launch OPPO Pad 2 and OPPO Watch 3 in India in 2023 and the timeline and price range for the same have also been tipped. This news comes from the popular tipster, Mukul Sharma who happens to have a good track record when it comes to product launches. Let’s take a look at the details.
OPPO Pad 2, OPPO Watch 3 India Details
As per the report, OPPO will launch the OPPO Pad 2 and the OPPO Watch 3 in Inida in the month of March or in the first half of April 2023. The OPPO Watch 3 series has already been launched in China and we can expect the device to come with the same specs as the Chinese variant. On the other hand, the OPPO Pad is likely to be launched in China ahead of the expected India launch.
As for the pricing, the OPPO Pad 2 is tipped to be priced between Rs 20,000 and Rs 25,000. With this pricing, this could take on Xiaomi’s Pad 5 in India. As for the current OPPO tab in India, the Pad Air in India is priced at Rs 16,999 for the base model. Although the OPPO Pad is available in China, in India, the company launched only the OPPO Pad Air this year.
While the tipster did not reveal the OPPO Watch 3’s pricing, Mukul added that the watch will get a new colour option in India. The OPPO Watch 3 comes with a 1.75-inch AMOLED screen and is powered by Snapdragon W5 and Apollo 4 Plus SoCs. The smart device packs in a 400mAh battery and supports fast charging as well. The OPPO Watch 3 starts at CNY 1499 in China, which is around Rs 18,000.
