Oppo, earlier this week, launched its first-ever Android tablet in the Indian market – the Oppo Pad Air. The Oppo Pad Air will go on sale for the first time today in the country. The Oppo tablet is a multimedia-focused device that offers a 2K resolution display and a quad stereo speaker setup. The tablet is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 processor, 4GB of RAM, and a 7100mAh battery unit.

The Oppo Pad Air price in India is Rs 16,999 for the 4GB + 64GB configuration. There is also a 4GB + 128GB variant of the tablet which is priced at Rs 19,999.

Oppo Pad Air: Specifications and Features

The Oppo tablet flaunts a 10.36-inch IPS LCD display with a 2K (2000 × 1200 pixel) resolution, 225ppi pixel density, and 60hz refresh rate. The display panel supports 360nits peak brightness and a 120Hz touch sampling rate.

The Oppo Pad Air is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 processor that is fabbed on a 6nm process. The Snapdragon 680 brings with it an integrated Adreno 610 GPU, 4GB LPDDR4X RAM, and up to 128GB UFS2.2 storage. The tablet also has a micro-SD card slot that accepts up to 512GB cards.

The Oppo tablet offers an 8MP rear camera with an 80° field of view and an f/2.0 aperture. There is also a 5MP front shooter with a 77° field of view and an f/2.2 aperture. The tablet comes equipped with a 7,100mAh battery unit and 18W fast charging support.

The Oppo Pad Air features a Type-C port for charging and data transfers. It also supports reverse charging so, you can charge your smartphone and other devices with the help of your tablet. It packs a quad stereo speaker setup with Dolby Atmos.

The Oppo Pad Air comes in a Grey colour option and weighs 440grams. It measures 245.08 × 154.84 × 6.94mm. The tablet comes pre-loaded with ColorOS 12.1 for Pad. Connectivity options of the tablet include WiFi 5 and Bluetooth 5.1. The Oppo Pad Air also supports Oppo Stylus Pen but the company is yet to launch it in the country.
