OPPO is hosting an event in India next week where the company will launch the Reno 8 series smartphones. Recently, it was also confirmed that the company will also launch the OPPO Enco X2 TWS with active noise cancellation along with the Reno 8 and the Reno 8 Pro.
Now, OPPO has confirmed the launch of yet another product on the same stage. The OPPO Pad Air will make its India debut on July 18th. The OPPO Pad Air is the company’s second tablet after the original Oppo Pad. But, this will be the company’s first Android tablet in India. With the launch of this tablet, OPPO will take on the likes of Realme, Motorola, and more in the entry-level segment.

The Oppo Pad Air comes with a 10.36-inch 2K display with a resolution of 2000 × 1200 pixels. The tab comes with a 60Hz refresh rate, 83.5% screen-to-body ratio, 71% NTSC colour gamut, and 360nits brightness. Under the hood, the tablet draws power from the Snapdragon 680 SoC with up to 6GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB of UFS2.2 internal storage.
The Oppo Pad Air is backed by a 7,100mAh battery unit with support for 18W fast charging. In the camera department, there is an 8MP rear camera and a 5MP selife camera. There is no fingerprint scanner, but it does come with face unlock support.
The Android slate weighs 440 grams and it is just 6.94mm thick. Other features include Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth V5.1, Type-C port, ColorOS based on Android 12 OS, and a quad-speaker setup with Dolby Atmos.
As for the pricing, the Oppo Pad Air starts at CNY 1299(~Rs 15,100) for the 4GB+64GB model and goes up to CNY 1699 (~Rs 19,800) for the 6GB+128GB variant. The tablet comes available in Silver and Grey colour options. In India, the tablet will be available for purchase on Flipkart.
