OPPO Pad Air Android Tab and OPPO Enco X2 TWS Launched in India: Price, Features

Along with the launch of OPPO Reno 8 Pro and Reno 8, the company also launched two new products. The brand has launched the OPPO Pad Air Android Tablet and OPPO Enco X2 true wireless earbuds. The Oppo Pad Air is the company’s first tablet for the Indian market while the Enco X2 is the successor to the Enco X from 2021.

Both the products were initially launched in China early this year. With the launch of the tablet, OPPO will take on the likes of Realme, Motorola, and more in the entry-level segment. The Enco X2 will take on the rivals from OnePlus, Samsung, Apple, and more in the premium price range. Let’s take a look at the pricing and features of these new products.

OPPO Pad Air, OPPO Enco X2: Price in India and Availability

The Oppo Pad Air starts at Rs 16,999 for the 4GB_64GB model and Rs 19,999 for the 4GB+128GB model. The tablet will be available for purchase from July 23rd.


The OPPO Enco X2 TWS are priced at Rs 10,999 and will be available in Black and White colour options. The audio product will go on sale from July 25th on Flipkart.

The Oppo Pad Air comes with a 10.36-inch 2K display with a resolution of 2000 × 1200 pixels. It has a standard 60Hz refresh rate, 83.5% screen-to-body ratio, 71% NTSC colour gamut, and 360 nits brightness. Under the hood, the tablet is powered by Snapdragon 680 SoC with up to 4GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB of UFS2.2 internal storage.

The Oppo Pad Air is packed with a 7,100mAh battery unit with support for 18W fast charging. In the camera department, there is an 8MP rear camera and a 5MP selife camera. The tab comes with support for face unlock and misses out on a fingerprint scanner.

The Android tab weighs 440 grams and it is just 6.94mm thick. Other features include Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth V5.1, Type-C port, ColorOS for pad based on Android 12 OS, and a quad-speaker setup with Dolby Atmos. The tab also comes with support for OPPO smart stylus pen.

OPPO Enco X2: Features and Specifications

Like the last gen, these are also co-created by Dynaudio. These in-ear style earbuds are powered by Bluetooth 5.2 and they also support low latency (94ms) dual transmission and a 10-meter wireless range. In terms of design, each bud weighs 4.7 grams and the buds come with an IP54 dust and water resistance rating for protection against sweat, rain, and dust.

In the audio department, there is an 11mm moving coil driver unit and a secondary 6mm flat diaphragm unit. There is support for LHDC, SBC, and AAC codecs. These buds also come with Oppo’s proprietary Super DBEE 3.0 which brings in improved sound quality, low-frequency audio, and more. They also support Hi-Res wireless audio.

Oppo Enco X2

The Enco X2 also comes with active noise cancellation with smart dynamic noise reduction, deep noise reduction, moderate noise reduction, mild noise reduction, transparency mode, enhanced vocals, and noise reduction off modes. For noise cancellation, these come with three microphones and also bone conduction AI call noise reduction. These buds offer up to 45dB noise cancellation.

In terms of battery life, the Enco X2 are rated to last up to 5 hours with ANC turned on and up to 6.5 hours with ANC turned off. With the included charging case, the battery life goes up to 20 hours and 27 hours respectively.  The TWS supports Type-C charging as well as Qi wireless charger.
