
Smartphone maker, Oppo launched the Oppo K10 series phones in China recently and the brand unveiled the Oppo F21 series in India. Now, the company is gearing up to launch the Oppo K10x and Oppo Reno 8 series devices in China as well as in India. On the same lines, the company is also prepping to launch a new smartphone, which we have now spotted on the Geekbench database.
A new Oppo smartphone with a PFZM10 model number has been spotted on the Geekbench database revealing many details like the processor, OS version, RAM, and more. As per the listing, it looks like the phone will be powered by either MediaTek Dimensity 8100 or the Dimensity 8100 Max processor. Also, Oppo is yet to launch a phone with Dimensity 8100 processor.
Oppo PFZM10 Could Be The First Oppo Smartphone To Feature Dimensity 8100 SoC
The Oppo PFZM10 smartphone from Oppo will be powered by an octa-core chipset and it will be under the MediaTek Dimensity. Going by the Geekbench database details, the upcoming Oppo device will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8100 processor, which was launched a couple of months along with the MediaTek Dimensity 8000 SoC and Dimensity 1300 SoC.
The Dimensity 8100 is an octa-core processor with four premium Arm Cortex-A78 cores with a clock speed of up to 2.85GHz and four Arm Cortex-A55 cores clocked at 2GHz. The chipset is paired with Arm Mali G610 GPU to handle graphic and gaming content. The SoC also comes with HyperEngine 5.0 gaming suite, which offers support for up to 170fps gaming. However, this could also be the MediaTek Dimensity 8100 Max processor, which we have seen recently on OnePlus Ace and OnePlus 10R phones.
Further, the listing reveals that the phone will come with 12GB RAM, but we can also expect the phone to feature other RAM and storage options. Lastly, the device has secured 815 in the single-core test and 3323 multi-core test. The device will run on Android 12 out of the box. Apart from these, we do not have much information of the phone for the time being.
