OPPO had launched the R17 Pro in China alongside the standard R17 in August this year. The R17 Pro, along with the R17, happens to be the first OPPO R-series smartphone to come with a waterdrop notch design and an In-display fingerprint sensor. The smartphone is expected to go on sale in China for the first time on November 11. Before its first sale in China, the smartphone is set to make its international debut. OPPO is holding a launch event in Milan, Italy tomorrow, on November 06, where the company will be launching the RX17 Pro, the international version of the R17 Pro.

OPPO R17 Pro Set to Launch in Italy Tomorrow as RX17 Pro
OPPO Mobile Italy has released a teaser video on its social media page, teasing the RX17 Pro. The “Define the night” tagline used by the company clearly hints at the camera strengths of the smartphone. As many of you may be aware, the R17 Pro features an impressive triple-camera setup at the rear. While OPPO will be revealing the smartphone’s pricing and availability information for the Italian market only tomorrow, rumors suggest the RX17 Pro is likely to be priced at a little over 540 EUR (INR 45,000 approx.) in Italy. The R15 Pro was launched in Italy in July this year at the same price. OnePlus 6T, which was officially announced just a week back, is priced at 549 EUR for the base configuration with 6GB of RAM and 128GB internal storage in most European countries. The R17 Pro shares a lot in common with the OnePlus 6T, although, there are a few key differences as well. Since the OPPO R17 Pro does not run on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset, some consumers may find it a tad overpriced for the hardware on offer.
