Earlier this month, OPPO announced that it would soon launch the R17 Pro King of Glory Custom Edition in China. Just as promised, the R17 Pro King of Glory Custom Edition is now on sale in China. The R17 Pro King Custom Edition comes in a condensed green shade with a King of Glory logo on its back and a heroic King of Glory jewel placed at the top of the camera. Aside from these differences, the R17 Pro King Custom Edition is identical to the standard R17 Pro.

The OPPO R17 Pro King Custom Edition has been priced at CNY 4,299 in China, which converts to INR 43,500 approximately. It comes only in a single color and a single memory configuration with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The King Custom Edition is expected to remain exclusive to the Chinese market.

As mentioned earlier, the R17 Pro King Custom Edition is identical to the R17 Pro when it comes to hardware specifications. It sports a large 6.4-inch AMOLED display with 1080 x 2340 pixels Full HD+ resolution and a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The display is protected by a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 6 and integrates an In-display fingerprint sensor. Powering the OPPO R17 Pro King Custom Edition is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 10nm octa-core processor clocked at up to 2.2 GHz with an Adreno 616 GPU.

The smartphone boasts an impressive triple-camera setup on the back with a 12MP primary sensor, 20MP secondary sensor, and a TOF 3D sensor. The primary 12MP sensor features a variable aperture f/1.5-2.4 wide-angle lens, similar to flagship Samsung smartphones. On the front is a 25MP AI selfie camera clubbed with an f/2.0 aperture. Another key feature of the R17 Pro King Custom Edition is its 3700mAh battery with SuperVOOC Flash Charge technology. Connectivity-wise, the R17 Pro King Custom Edition supports Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac dual-band, Bluetooth 5.0 Low Energy, GPS with A-GPS, BeiDou, Galileo, NFC, USB 3.1 Type-C, and 4G VoLTE. In terms of software, the handset will ship with Android 8.1 Oreo-based ColorOS 5.2 out of the box.
