And today, Oppo’s official Twitter account confirmed the Oppo R17 Pro will launch on December 4. The Tweet even mentioned that eager buyers can place pre-orders for the same starting today, December 1.

Oppo has been steadily dropping hints about bringing an R-series smartphone to the Indian market. The brand posted a small video on Twitter showing the alphabet R. The teaser read “Stay tuned! Something new is coming up. #OPPO R-Series.” Late last month, Oppo clearly hinted it was bringing an R-Series smartphone to India. The company marked the social media post with Oppo R17 and the Oppo R17 Pro tags as well, clearly indicating the devices were officially launching in the country. However, Oppo did not mention any specific launch dates, leaving several smartphone enthusiasts eagerly awaiting the news. A day ago, Oppo finally confirmed the Oppo R17 Pro will launch in India on December 4. It even added the device will up for pre-orders starting December 1.
