OPPO Reno 10, 10 Pro, 10 Pro+ With 6.74-inch Curved OLED 120Hz Display Launched: Price and Specifications

OPPO has launched OPPO Reno 10, 10 Pro and Reno 10 Pro+ in China. The smartphones are equipped with higher end Qualcomm and MediaTek chipsets and dedicated triple-rear cameras.

OPPO has been teasing the launch of Reno 10 series smartphones in China. The OEM had recently confirmed some of its key specifications through teasers shared on its Weibo account. The company has finally unveiled OPPO Reno 10, Reno 10 Pro, and Reno 10 Pro+ in China. The Pro and Pro+ smartphones share identical specifications except for some aspects. OPPO will likely launch some of these smartphones in the global markets including India in the coming months. Let us have a detailed look at the pricing and specifications of the newly launched OPPO Reno 10 series smartphones.

OPPO Reno 10, Reno 10 Pro, and Reno 10 Pro+: Pricing and Availability

OPPO has priced the base variant of Reno 10 with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage at RMB 2,499 (approx. Rs 29,340). The middle variant with 12GB RAM and 256B storage is priced at RMB 2,799 (approx. Rs 32,862), and RMB 2,999 (approx. Rs 35,210) for the top variant with 12GB RAM and 512GB of storage. The vanilla 10 and 10 Pro smartphones are available in three colour options, namely Gold, Blue, and Black.

The pricing of Reno 10 Pro starts at RMB 3,499 (approx. Rs 41,100) for the variant with 16GB RAM and 256GB storage and RMB 3,899 Yuan (approx. Rs 45,780) for the 16GB + 512GB variant. In contrast, the Reno 10 Pro+ is priced at RMB 3,899 (approx. Rs 45,780) and RMB 4,299 (approx. Rs 50,475) for similar variants. The top-end Reno 10 Pro+ is available in Gold, Purple, and Black colour options. OPPO has already started the pre-booking of smartphones in China. The Indian launch of the smartphones is rumoured to be scheduled in June.

OPPO Reno 10 Pro and Reno 10 Pro+: Specifications

OPPO Reno 10 Pro and 10 Pro+ have a 6.74-inch curved OLED display with a 1.5K resolution. The display has a refresh rate of 120Hz, a peak brightness of 1400 nits, a 240Hz touch sampling rate, a DCI-P3 colour gamut, and ProXDR technology. Underneath, the Pro variant sports MediaTek Dimensity 8200 chipset built on a 4nm process. The Reno 10 Pro+ is powered by a lower-frequency Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC.

OPPO has paired both smartphones with 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The smartphone runs on Color OS 13 based on Android 13 out of the box. Apart from the differences in chipsets, there is also a slight difference in the camera setup between both smartphones in the Reno 10 Pro series. Regarding optics, the Pro variant features a triple-rear camera setup with a primary 50MP Sony IMX 890 sensor with f/1.8 aperture and OIS.

The sensor is paired with a 32MP Sony IMX709 telephoto lens with f/2.0 aperture and 2x optical zoom support and a tertiary 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens with f/2.2 aperture and a field of view of 112°. The Reno 10 Pro+ gets a larger 64MP telephoto periscope lens with f/2.5 aperture and OIS instead of the 32MP sensor.

Both smartphones offer the same 32MP front camera with f/2.4 aperture that sits inside the centred punch-hole. The Pro variant has a smaller 4600mAh battery than the 10 Pro+’s 4700 mAh battery. OPPO offers 100W fast charging tech with both these smartphones. The Pro+ weighs 194 grams compared to Reno 10 Pro’s 186 grams.

OPPO Reno 10: Specifications

The vanilla Reno 10 has a similar screen but a lower FHD+ resolution, a peak brightness of 950 nits, and lacks ProXDR technology. Underneath, it sports a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G SoC paired with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage. However, OPPO used LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.2 storage for 8GB and 12GB variant with 256GB storage.

The Reno 10 has a similar rear camera setup compared to Reno 10 Pro but with a primary 64MP OmniVision sensor with f/1.7 aperture. The smartphone has the same 32MP selfie camera seen on other Reno 10 series smartphones. It is backed by a 4600 mAh battery with 80W fast charging support. All the smartphones in the Reno 10 series are equipped with an in-display fingerprint scanner and face unlock.
