OPPO recently launched the Reno 9 series in China. The company launched three premium phones, two of which were tipped to launch in India earlier this year. However, the latest development suggested that the Chinese tech giant will skip launching the Reno 9 series in India and instead launch the Reno 10 series later this year. OPPO Reno 10 series is likely to debut first in China, followed by India and other markets. The company might launch three premium phones, which will be called the Reno 10, Reno 10 Pro and Reno 10 Pro+ 5G.
The devices are expected to launch during the second quarter of 2023. OPPO is yet to confirm the official launch details. Meanwhile, a new report has revealed some details about the upcoming Reno 10 series. A new leak has revealed the key specifications of the Reno 10 series. Tipster Digital Chat Station, who shared (via) the key details, also revealed the specs of the Reno 10 and Reno 10 Pro+ 5G. Let’s take a look at the available details of the OPPO Reno 10 series.
OPPO Reno 10 Series Specifications Leaked
The OPPO Reno 10 series will launch as a mid-range-to-premium smartphone series in China. The phones are likely to launch in India as well. The vanilla Reno 10 will debut as a successor to the Reno 8 5G in India. It will feature a 6.7-inch OLED display with a Full HD+ resolution, according to tipster Digital Chat Station. The upcoming OPPO smartphone is also said to feature a 2x portrait lens on the back and a 32MP front camera sensor. It would be interesting to see if the vanilla Reno 10 gets a curved display like the Reno 8T 5G, which was recently launched in India,
The tipster also listed the specs of the Reno 10 Pro+ 5G, which revealed that the phone will get a 1.5K display with a 1220 x 2712-pixel resolution. There will be a 50MP Sony IMX890 main camera sensor, which is the same as the Reno 9 Pro+ 5G, OnePlus 11 and the Realme GT Neo 5 5G in China. The device is also said to feature a periscope camera, which is not as common in the price segment.
In addition to the camera and display specs, the tipster also revealed the battery specs of the phone. The Reno 10 Pro+ 5G is likely to pack a 4,600 mAh dual-cell unit. Going by OPPO’s recent trend, the Reno 10 Pro+ might offer support for 80W or 100W fast charging.
The same tipster had previously revealed the Reno 10 Pro+ 5G design render, which showed a new camera module design. The phone is said to get a pill-shaped camera module with a triple-camera setup. It is likely to feature an 8MP ultra-wide camera on top of the two camera sensors on the back mentioned above.
On the front, the phone will reportedly have a hole-punch cutout at the top centre of the display. The screen is flat, which is contrary to the Reno 9 series in China, which sports a curved OLED panel.
