OPPO launched its latest Reno series smartphone, OPPO Reno 4 Pro in India a few weeks back. The company is now gearing up to launch OPPO Reno 4 Pro MS Dhoni Special Edition in the country. The smartphone will launch on 17th September, as Flipkart has already set up a landing page of the upcoming product with the teaser ‘He is making a comeback to #BeTheInfinite’. Now ahead of the launch, we have received an anonymous tip that shows the image of the retail unit. The tipster has also revealed that OPPO Reno 4 Pro MS Dhoni Special Edition will go on sale starting 24th September in the country.

OPPO Reno 4 Pro: Price in India
OPPO Reno 4 is available only in one memory configuration in the country, that is, 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, which costs Rs. 34,990. The smartphone retails in Silky White and Starry Night color variants in India.
OPPO Reno 4 Pro: Specifications and features
The OPPO Reno 4 Pro packs a 6.55-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED panel with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels and a single punch-hole notch on the top-left corner. The device comes with a 90Hz refresh rate display and a 180Hz touch sampling rate. Under-the-hood, the device sports a Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G built on 8nm process. The graphics duties on the device are handled by Adreno 618 GPU which is clocked at 750MHz. It features 8GB LPDDR4X RAM coupled with 128GB UFS 2.1 storage along with a dedicated Micro-SD card slot.
The OPPO Reno 4 Pro features a 48MP quad-rear camera setup with Sony IMX586 primary sensor that has f/1.7 aperture, an 8MP ultra-wide lens with 119° field-of-view and f/2.2 aperture, a 2MP macro lens, and a 2MP mono camera with f/2.4 aperture. For the selfies, there is a 32MP Sony IMX616 shooter with f/2.4 aperture.
The OPPO Reno 4 Pro gets a 4,000mAh battery, which supports OPPO’s proprietary 65W SuperVOOC fast charging. The OPPO Reno 4 Pro gets a Type-C charging port. It runs Android 10 based ColorOS 7.2 for now, but OPPO has plans to upgrade the device to Android 11 based ColorOS 11. The device measures 160.2×73.2×7.7mm and weighs in at 161 grams.
