OPPO Reno 5 Leaked Renders Reveal Three Models, Expected to Launch Soon

OPPO is gearing up to launch the Reno 5 series soon in China and the rumours and leaks have already started surfacing on the web. The Reno 5 series is expected to go live on December 10th and the company is planning to launch OPPO Reno 5, Reno 5 Pro, and Reno 5 Pro+ in the series. Now a popular Chinese tipster has shared a new image of the display design of the upcoming smartphones. Here’s a closer look at the leaked render of the OPPO Reno 5 series.

The leaked render shared by the tipster showcased the design of upcoming Reno 5 series smartphones. The phone on the left in the renders is the Reno 4 SE and the smartphone on the right and middle seems to be the Reno 4 Pro 5G. The leaked render suggests that the Reno 5 might look similar to the Reno 4 SE and the Reno 5 Pro and Reno 5 Pro + will look like the Reno 4 Pro.

According to the leaked render, all the three smartphones will house a punch-hole cutout display design to accommodate the front-camera setup for selfies and video calls. Besides, the smartphones seem to arrive with slick chassis design and edge-to-edge display.

Recent leaks claim that the OPPO Reno 5 will sport a 6.43-inch OLED display and the Reno 5 Pro and Reno 5 Pro+ will be equipped by a 6.55-inch OLED panel. The Reno 5 is tipped to be powered by the Snapdragon 765G SoC and the Pro models will be equipped by the Dimensity 1000+ chipset. The top-end model Reno 5 Pro+ is said to draw power from the Snapdragon 865 SoC.

Rumours also suggest that the Reno 5 will be fulled by a 4,300mAh battery and Reno 5 Pro will be backed by a 4,350mAh battery. The top-end variant is expected to pack 4,500mAh battery and all the smartphones will support 65W fast charging. So far we have this much information about the upcoming Reno 5 series.
