Oppo is gearing up for the Reno7 series launch event. The company is rumoured to launch three new smartphones later this month in China. However, it looks like there is one smartphone from the Reno 6 series that is yet to get a launch date. According to a new leak, the Reno 6 Lite is in the works for the European market. The company has already launched two new Reno smartphones under the Reno 6 series in India. There is no word on whether the Reno 6 Lite will make it to India. However, some details of the device have leaked online. Let’s take a look at the Oppo Reno 6 Lite specifications, features and other details.
Oppo Reno 6 Lite launch imminent
Oppo is yet to announce the Reno 6 Lite launch date. Ahead of the official announcement, the device’s key specs and other details have leaked. Tipster Sudhanshu has uploaded a video that reveals the design of the device and other key specs. It will sport the Reno Glow design, which is also found on the currently available Reno 6 series. The device has a triple-camera setup on the back. It will have a 48MP primary camera and two 2MP sensors, which will be used for depth mapping and macro photography. The rear camera will come with features like Night Portrait, AI Scene Enhancement, etc.
The upcoming Oppo smartphone will also sport an AMOLED display with a Full HD+ resolution. The screen size remains unknown. We can expect the phone to feature a 6.5-inch 60Hz panel. It has a hole-punch cutout at the top-left corner. The device has a slightly thick chin compared to the side bezels.
Under the hood, there is a Qualcomm Snapdragon SoC. The video did not reveal the processor details. It however confirmed that the phone has 6GB of RAM with 5GB of virtual RAM expansion that will be borrowed from the phone’s 128GB internal memory.
It packs a 5000 mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. The phone also has an in-display fingerprint scanner with AI unlock. We can expect the phone to run Android 11-based ColorOS 11 out of the box.
