OPPO is planning to bring its OPPO Reno 6 Pro 5G to India next month. OPPO launched the Reno 6 series in May in China. OPPO Reno 6 series features three different phones: OPPO Reno 6, OPPO Reno 6 Pro, and OPPO Reno 6 Pro Plus. OPPO Reno 6 Pro 5G to Launch in Mid-July in India
Moneycontrol reports that the brand will only launch the OPPO Reno 6 Pro 5G in India. The report adds that the brand is currently finalising the launch date of the Reno 6 Pro 5G. The report says that the phone might get launched by Mid-July in the country. This means one could expect it to launch in the second or third week of July. At this moment, it is not known currently if the brand will bring the other two smartphones from the Reno 6 series in India or not.
OPPO Reno 6 Pro 5G: Specifications and Expected Price in India
The OPPO Reno 6 Pro features a 6.55-inch FHD+ curved Super AMOLED screen that supports up to a 90Hz refresh rate. It has a punch-hole cutout design and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection.
Under the hood, the phone is powered by the Mediatek Dimensity 1200 SoC and features up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. The Reno 6 Pro 5G runs on Android 11 on top of ColorOS skin. It is fuelled by a 4,500mAh battery with support for 65W fast charging.
For the optics, the Reno 6 Pro 5G offers a triple camera setup with the combination of 64MP primary camera + 8MP wide-angle lens + 2MP macro lens along with an LED flash. It also has a 32MP front shooter for selfies and video calls.
The OPPO Reno 6 Pro is available for CNY 3499 (around Rs 39,800) for the 8GB+128GB variant and CNY 3799 (around Rs 43,000) for the 12GB+256GB version in China. As for the Indian pricing is concerned, the phone might launch under Rs 45,000 for the 8GB+128GB version and under Rs 50,000 for the 12GB+256GB version in India.
