Oppo Reno 6 series made its official debut back in May in China. The smartphone lineup consists of three devices – Oppo Reno 6, Reno 6 Pro, and Reno 6 Pro+. Now, Oppo is all set to expand the lineup with one more device – Oppo Reno 6Z. The upcoming Reno 6Z will make its official debut on July 21st in Thailand. Ahead of the launch, a micro-site for Reno 6Z has gone live on the official Oppo Thailand website. The micro-site also reveals some of the key specifications of the device including MediaTek Dimensity processor, and 30W fast charging.
Oppo Reno 6Z: Specifications
The micro-site reveals that the upcoming Oppo Reno 6Z will be powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 800U mobile processor. This is the same processor that powers several other mid-range smartphones including Vivo V21, Realme Narzo 30 Pro, Realme X7, Redmi Note 9T, and more. Oppo has also confirmed support for 30W VOOC charging on the upcoming Reno series device.
The upcoming Reno 6Z will offer a triple-rear camera setup including a 64MP primary sensor, and a LED flash. These sensors will be arranged in a vertical array inside a rectangular camera module on top left corner of the handset. Also, one poster confirms that the handset will come in two colors including a Black variant. Last month, specifications of the upcoming Reno 6Z handset had surfaced on the web. As per the tipster, the handset will feature a standard 60Hz refresh rate screen.
This is all that’s known about the handset as of now. However, we can expect to learn more about the upcoming handset in the coming weeks as it passes through other certification websites before its debut on July 21st. In other Oppo-related news, the company is all set to launch the Oppo Reno 6, and Oppo Reno 6 Pro next week in India.
