Oppo has launched a new smartphone under the Reno 7 lineup – the Oppo Reno 7A. The Reno 7A has made its global debut in Japan and is a 5G-enabled smartphone. The all-new Reno 7A is a mid-range smartphone and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 processor. It offers a 90Hz AMOLED display and an optical in-display fingerprint scanner.

Oppo Reno 7A: Price and Availability

The Oppo Reno 7A comes in a sole configuration – 6GB + 128GB and is priced at 44,800 yen (approximately Rs 26,300). It is already available for purchase in the Japanese market. Oppo has not revealed the availability of the handset in other regions yet.

The Reno 7A offers a 6.4-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 2400 × 1080 pixel resolution, 90Hz refresh rate, and 600nits peak brightness. It features DT Star 2 glass protection and supports a 180Hz touch sampling rate.

Powering the latest Reno device is an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 processor and an Adreno 619 GPU. It comes paired with 6GB LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB UFS2.2 storage. The handset also features a dedicated micro-SD card slot to extend the storage further. The handset boots ColorOS 12, based on Android 11.

The Reno 7A comes equipped with a triple rear camera setup including a 48MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle sensor, and a 2MP macro sensor. The latest Reno smartphone relies on a 16MP front shooter.

The all-new Reno 7A is backed by a 4500mAh battery unit and 18W fast charging support. It has an in-display fingerprint scanner, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a Type-C charging port. It also features an IPX8 rating that makes it waterproof and dustproof.

The Reno 7A comes in Starry Black and Dream Blue colour options and weighs about 175grams. In terms of connectivity, it offers Dual-SIM, 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, Glonass, Galileo, and Beidou.
