The Oppo Reno 8 will be available for pre-order starting today in the Indian market. To recall, the Oppo Reno 8 made its debut earlier this week alongside the Reno 8 Pro in the country. The mid-range Reno series smartphone is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 1300 processor and 8GB of RAM. The Reno 8 offers a 90Hz AMOLED display and a 50MP Sony IMX766 sensor.

The Oppo Reno 8 will be up for pre-orders starting at 7:00 PM exclusively via Flipkart and Oppo Store. As a launch offer, the company is offering up to Rs 3,000 discount with HDFC, ICICI, SBI, and Bank of Baroda Cards.

The Oppo Reno 8 comes in a sole 8GB + 128GB configuration and is priced at Rs 29,999.

The Reno 8 flaunts a 6.4-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display panel with a 1080 x 2400 pixel resolution, 409ppi pixel density, and 120Hz refresh rate. It is a 90Hz refresh rate panel that supports up to 800 nits peak brightness and makes room for an in-display fingerprint scanner. It also features Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection.

Powering the smartphone is an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 1300 processor. Built on a 6nm process, the Dimensity 1300 brings with it an integrated Mali G77 GPU, 8GB LPDDR4X RAM, and 128GB UFS3.1 storage. The smartphone comes pre-loaded with ColorOS 12.1, based on Android 12.

For photography, the latest Reno series device offers a triple-rear camera setup including a 50MP Sony IMX766 sensor with 1/1.56-inch sensor size, an f/1.8 aperture, and an 86° field of view. The smartphone comes equipped with a 4500mAh battery unit and supports 80W SuperVOOC fast charging. It makes use of a Type-C port for charging and data transfer.

The Reno 8 comes in Shimmer Black and Shimmer Gold colour options. It weighs 179grams and measures 160.6 × 73.4 × 7.67mm. The connectivity options of the smartphone include Dual-SIM, 5G, WiFi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, Glonass, Galileo, and BeiDou.
