The Oppo Reno 8 series smartphones were launched in China last evening. The company announced the Oppo Reno 8 Pro+, Reno 8 Pro, and the vanilla Reno 8. Along with the Reno 8 trio, the Oppo Pad Air and Oppo Enco R TWS were also launched in China.

The Oppo Reno 8 series is expected to launch in India in June, which is not too far away from now. Ahead of the launch, now a new report has revealed the Oppo Reno 8 Pro’s colour options, RAM, and storage configurations. The Reno 8 Pro in India will be available in three colour options. Let’s take a look at all the details.

Oppo Reno 8 Pro India Colour Options, RAM, and Storage Options Leaked

According to a report from Passionategeekz, the Oppo Reno 8 Pro will be available in 8GB+256GB and 12GB+256GB options. Based on this leak, India will not be getting the 8GB+128GB base variant, which was announced yesterday in China. In terms of colour options, the device will be available in Green, black, and white colourways with Glazed Green, Glazed Black, and Glazed White marketing names respectively. Lastly, the report also says, Oppo might not launch the Reno 8 Pro+ in India.

Oppo Reno 8 Pro: Specifications

The Reno 8 Pro comes with a 6.62-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with 2400 × 1080 pixels, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a 92% screen to body ratio. The device is powered by Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC with a clock speed of up to 2.4GHz. This could be the first phone with the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC in India as well. The phone is equipped with up to 12GB LPDDR4x RAM and 256GB UFS 2.2 storage.

In the camera department, there is a triple rear camera setup with a 50MP Sony IMX766 sensor, an 8MP wide-angle lens, and a 2MP macro snapper. There is a 32MP Sony IMX709 snapper on the front for selfies. The Reno 8 Pro draws power from a 4500mAh battery unit backed by an 80W Super Flash charging. This device also comes with a MariSilicon X chip, which is said to offer a boost in terms of camera performance. Other features include an in-display fingerprint scanner, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, Type-C port, 7.57mm thickness and 188-gram weight.

In terms of pricing, the Reno 8 Pro could be priced around Rs 40,000 and will rival the likes of the OnePlus 10R, Realme GT 2, and more. The device is expected to launch in India in mid-June.
