Oppo Reno 8 Series Smartphone Leaked Renders Showcase Renewed Design, Large Camera Bump

Oppo recently launched the Reno 7 series in China. The company launched the Reno 7 and Reno 7 Pro, which are expected to arrive in India as well. As of now, there is no official word from Oppo regarding the Reno 7 India launch details. However, considering how the company has launched its premium smartphone series, we can expect the same for the Reno 7 series as well. While the Reno 7 series has not even launched in India, a new leak has revealed the Oppo Reno 8 series design.

The report by LetsGoDigital reveals the design of the upcoming Oppo smartphone, which could either be the Reno 8 or the 8 Pro. The design images are based on patent images spotted by the publication. Let’s take a look at the Oppo Reno 8 series design and features revealed via the patent images.

Oppo Reno 8 Series Design

Oppo is expected to launch the Reno 8 series in February or March 2022. The company is expected to launch at least two devices under the series. Oppo is yet to confirm the launch details. Meanwhile, the design renders of one of the Reno 8 phones have leaked.

There is no confirmation of the moniker in the patent images. Therefore, it is unknown at the moment if this phone is the top-end Pro model or the vanilla Reno 8. It is said to come in three colours – Blue, Grey/ Silver, and Black. The patent images reveal that the phone has a massive camera island on the top portion of the rear panel. There is a triple-camera setup with an LED flash on his module. 

At the front, there is a slightly curved screen. There is a hole-punch cutout at the top left corner of the display. The phone has a thin chin bezel and an earpiece on the top bezel. It does not reveal the display size but going by Oppo’s recent smartphones, the phone could sport a 6.43-inch or a 6.55-inch display. It is likely to feature an AMOLED display with a 90Hz or 120Hz refresh rate support.

The images also reveal that the phone has the volume keys on the left and the power button on the right edge. Other details of the Oppo Reno 8 series phone remain unknown at the moment. We will share more details as and when available.
