OPPO Reno 8Z 5G with Snapdragon 695 SoC, 8GB RAM Listed on Geekbench, Should Launch Soon

The OPPO Reno 8Z will run on Android 12 out of the box.

OPPO launched the Reno8 series smartphone back in China first with the announcement of the OPPo Reno8, Reno8 Pro, and Reno8 Pro+. Back in July, the company launched the OPPO Reno 8 and the Reno 8 Pro in India. The Reno8 Pro+ from China was launched as Reno8 Pro in India.

In the meanwhile, the company is also gearing up to launch the Reno 8Z 5G smartphone in the Reno8 series as the fourth member of the family. The Reno8 Z 5G’s live images were leaked a few weeks back and the device was spotted on the NBTC listing a couple of months ago. Now, it looks like the phone is nearing its launch, as we have spotted the phone on the Geekbench database.

OPPO Reno 8Z 5G Geekbench Listing Details

The upcoming OPPO phone with CPH2457 has been listed on the Geekbench website. This model number was confirmed to be the OPPO Reno 8Z previously. The Reno 8Z 5G will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon octa-core chipset with six cores clocked at and two cores with 2.21GHz. The SoC will be paired with Adreno 619 GPU. This is the Snapdragon 695 5G SoC, which is the same as the one we have seen on the Reno 7Z 5G.

The listing suggests, that the device will come with 8GB RAM, but we can expect more RAM and storage options for the phone. The device will run on Android 12 out of the box, which will be based on ColorOS 12. The Reno 8Z has secured 687 and 1920 points in the single and multi-core tests respectively.

OPPO Reno 8Z 5G: Expected Specifications

Based on the previous leaks and rumours, the OPPO Reno 8Z 5G will come with a  triple-camera setup on the back. The Reno 8Z will come with a 4,500mAh battery and will support 33W fast charging. It will also come with a 3.5mm headphone jack, a USB Type-C port and a speaker grille at the bottom.
