OPPO Reno 8Z Poster Reveals Design Ahead of Official Launch: Specifications, Features

OPPO is gearing up for the launch of a new Reno smartphone. The company will launch the OPPO Reno 8Z soon in select markets. OPPO has launched two smartphones from the Reno 8 series in India. These include the Reno 8 and Reno 8 Pro 5G. The Reno 8Z is likely to launch in Europe and some other markets. Going by the company’s launch history, the 8Z could debut in India as part of the OPPO F-series. 

While we wait for some official launch details, a new leak has confirmed the design of the upcoming OPPO smartphone. The Reno 8Z will look a lot similar to the Reno 7Z. Let’s take a look at the OPPO Reno 8Z specifications, design and other details known so far. 

OPPO Reno 8Z Design Revealed Via Leaked Poster

OPPO Reno 8Z will be a new addition to the Reno 8 family worldwide. The company is expected to launch the new Reno smartphone soon. Ahead of the official confirmation, a new leak by tipster Evan Blass, aka EvLeaks, has revealed the phone’s design. The Reno 8Z could launch with the same design as the Reno 7Z. It will have a flat frame design. The phone has a SIM tray and volume keys on the left edge. There is also a microphone at the top edge of the phone.


Live images leaked via an NCC listing suggest that the phone has a 3.5mm headphone jack and a USB Type-C port at the bottom edge. The Reno 8Z will also sport a triple-camera setup on the back. 

According to the new poster, the phone has LED lights circling around the two camera sensor cutouts. If the phone is the same as the Reno 7Z, it could feature a 64MP main camera along with two 2MP sensors for depth mapping and macro photography.

The Reno 8Z will support 33W fast charging and is expected to pack a 4500 mAh battery. It will come with a Snapdragon 695 SoC under the hood with 8GB RAM at least. OPPO is expected to launch the phone with a 6.43-inch AMOLED display with support for a standard 60Hz refresh rate. The hole-punch cutout will be located at the top left corner of the screen for the front camera. Lastly, the Reno 8Z will run Android 12-based ColorOS 12.1 out of the box.
