OPPO Reno S With 64MP Camera, 65W Charging to Reportedly Launch in India in December: Expected Price, Features

An Indian tech publication, 91Mobiles, has published a report claiming that it has learned from its sources that Oppo will launch the Reno S smartphone in the Indian market in the first week of December. According to the report, the allegedly upcoming Reno S will feature a 64MP primary camera and 65W Super VOOC 2.0 fast charging. The publication also claims that the device will come with a price tag of above INR 40,000, and it will be available through online and offline stores.

What Could You Expect from Oppo Reno S?

Currently, there are no other details regarding the smartphone, as neither the brand has revealed any information, nor has there been any leak regarding the device. Considering that the device will be priced above INR 40,000, it could have flagship-grade hardware. You can expect the smartphone to come equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ SoC, up to 12GB of RAM, a maximum of 256GB of storage, an AMOLED display with HDR, and a battery pack of above 4000mAh. As the Reno series focuses more on photography, the Remo S could bring with it a telephoto and an ultrawide camera, in addition to the alleged 64MP primary sensor.

It is also possible that the Oppo Reno S will replace the Oppo Reno 10x Zoom as the range-topping smartphone from the brand in the Reno series. Anyway, Realme is also set to launch a similar smartphone in the Indian market on November 20 – the Realme X2 Pro. Even it has Super VOOC 2.0 fast charging, and a 64MP primary camera. Could they be the same devices then? It is possible. Maybe Oppo will launch the Realme X2 Pro as the Reno S. If that’s the case, the Realme X2 Pro could be focused more towards the online market, and the Oppo Reno S could target the offline market.
