Chinese telecommunications regulatory authority TENAA has certified two variants of what appears to be an upcoming member of the OPPO Reno series. While the marketing name of the smartphone is yet to be revealed, the TENAA listing has revealed its complete hardware specifications as well as design.

OPPO to Launch a New Reno Series Smartphone in China Soon?

The PCDM10 and PCDT10 variants of the upcoming Reno series smartphone certified by TENAA looks similar to the Reno standard edition from the back. However, unlike the Reno standard edition and Reno 10x Zoom, the PCDM10/PCDT10 does not have a pop-up selfie camera. Instead, the selfie camera is housed within a waterdrop notch at the top of the display. The back of the phone comes with an attractive gradient finish and dual camera sensors.

Moving on to the hardware specs, the TENAA listing reveals the OPPO PCDM10/PCDT10 sports a 6.4-inch AMOLED display featuring 1080 x 2340 pixels Full HD+ resolution and an In-display fingerprint scanner. The smartphone is listed to be powered by an octa-core processor clocked at 2.2 GHz, clubbed with 6GB RAM. Even though the TENAA listing does not confirm it, the clock speed listed on the TENAA website suggests it could be the Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 chipset, which powers the Reno standard edition. In terms of storage, the phone will ship with 128GB of internal memory.

For optics, the Reno series phone will have a 48MP + 5MP setup at the rear and a 32MP selfie snapper on the front. The battery capacity is listed to be 3960mAh, so the upcoming smartphone should be more than capable of delivering impressive battery life. As for physical dimensions, the OPPO PCDM10/PCDT10 measures 157.3 x 74.9 x 9.1mm and weighs 186 grams. Just as expected, the Reno series smartphone will debut with Android 9.0 Pie-based ColorOS 6.0. Since the PCDM10/PCDT10 has bagged certification from TENAA, it is possible that it will be officially launched in China very soon.
