OPPO introduced its Reno series smartphones in China last week. Only two models have been launched in China so far – Reno standard edition and Reno 10X Zoom. The Reno series will be making its global debut in Zurich on April 24. Thanks to new information that we have received from one of our sources, we can confirm that the OPPO Reno standard edition will be launching alongside the Reno 10X Zoom in Europe.

OPPO Reno Standard Edition to be Priced at EUR 499 in Europe

The OPPO Reno standard edition will be launched at a starting price of EUR 499 in Europe. However, it is possible that the retail price may differ very slightly, depending on the country. While it has not been confirmed yet, it is likely that the base variant that will launch in Europe will have 6GB RAM and 128GB of onboard storage. Needless to say, the Reno standard edition variant with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage will be more expensive. More details regarding the exact pricing as well as availability of the Reno series smartphones for the European market are expected to be announced at the launch event in Zurich.

OPPO Reno standard version features a 6.4-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution and an In-display fingerprint sensor. It runs on a mid-range Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 octa-core processor, paired with up to 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. Apart from being less powerful than the flagship Reno 10X Zoom, the standard edition is a downgrade in the camera department as well. The standard edition has a dual-camera setup at the rear with a 48MP resolution primary sensor and an 8MP ultra-wide snapper. Fueling the internals of the standard Reno version is a 3765mAh battery with 20W VOOC Flash Charge support. The Reno series smartphone ships with Android Pie-based ColorOS 6.0 out of the box.
