Oppo launched the Reno 7 series smartphones – the Oppo Reno 7, Reno 7 Pro and Reno 7 SE in China by the end of November. These devices are yet to be launched in the global market. The company however now appears to be prepping up for the launch of these smartphones in the global market, including India. The reason for the global launch of these devices is that the handsets in the Reno 7 series have started making an appearance on several certifications.
In a recent development, the Reno 7 Pro 5G global variant with model number CPH2293 has gained the required SIRIM and BIS certification. Apart from these certifications, the global Reno 7 Pro 5G model also has appeared on the Geekbench.
Oppo Reno 7 Pro 5G Global Variant Spotted At Geekbench
According to the SIRIM certification, the global Oppo Reno 7 Pro 5G model carries the model number as CPH2293. Additionally, the SIRIM certification also confirms the moniker as the Oppo Reno 7 Pro 5G. The device also has gained the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) certification with the same model number. Speaking about the Geekbench listing, the device will come powered by Dimensity 1200 Max 5G SoC, accompanied by 12GB of RAM. The handset will run Android 11 out of the box.
The device apart from the SIRIM, BIS, and Geekbench listing also has appeared on the Camera FV-5 website as well. As per the Camera FV-5 listing, the Reno 7 Pro 5G global model will have a 12.6MP sensor, which will offer a maximum resolution image of 4096×3072 pixels. The 12.6MP camera will have a EIS support and f/1.9 aperture. On the other hand, the front camera will be of 8MP, which will have an f/2.5 aperture and image resolution of 3264×2448 pixels. Considering the Camera FV-5 details, we can expect the device to capture a 50MP and 32MP image with the help of four-in-one pixel binning.
We can expect the Oppo Reno 7 Pro 5G global variant to offer the same specifications as that of the China model. Assuming that the specs of the Reno 7 Pro 5G specs will be similar to that of the China variant, the device will sport a 6.5-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution and 90Hz refresh rate. The display panel will have a Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection and a pixel density of 402 PPI. As confirmed by the Geekbench listing, the handset will be powered by Dimensity 1200 Max 5G processor.
The smartphone will feature a triple-camera setup, which will consist of a 50MP main camera, ultra-wide camera unit, and a 2MP depth sensor. For the selfie purpose the handset will sport a 32MP camera. The rest of the key features which the Reno 7 Pro 5G global model will offer include a 4,500mAh battery, 65W fast charging support, and an in-display fingerprint sensor.
