Oppo Teases Find X5 Series Smartphone with Hasselblad Camera

Let's take a look at the Oppo Find X5 series specifications, feautres and other leaked details.

Oppo is on the verge of announcing its Find X5 series launch date. The company is expected to launch its top-tier flagship smartphones in the coming weeks. The Find X5 series will debut first in China. Oppo might introduce the devices in other markets, including India. Ahead of the official launch, Oppo has confirmed its collaboration with Hasselblad for the Find X5 series.

The upcoming Oppo flagship smartphones will come with Hasselblad-tuned cameras. OnePlus, last year, partnered with the legendary camera company for its flagship smartphones. Therefore, it is no surprise that Oppo will also use the camera maker’s expertise for tuning its flagship smartphone’s optics following the merger.

Oppo Find X5 Series x Hasselblad

Oppo Find X5 series launch date is unknown at the moment. The company has now dropped a new teaser confirming its partnership with Hasselblad. Oppo is expected to offer the same set of camera features that OnePlus offers in its flagship device. One can expect a natural colour calibration to offer more accurate and natural-looking colours. We can expect the XPan mode to make its way to Oppo’s flagship smartphones too. There is no confirmation on the official features but we expect these to come on board based on how the company is slowly merging the software experience.

Design renders leaked in the past have confirmed Oppo’s collaboration with Hasselblad for the Find X-series. The devices will sport a triple-camera setup on the back. The Pro model will come with a 50MP f/1.7 main camera and a 50MP ultrawide camera. It will have a 13MP telephoto sensor with 2x optical zoom. The vanilla model could feature the same 50MP main camera found on the Pro model.

Both devices will draw power from a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC and support 80W fast charging. The Find X5 Pro is rumoured to pack a 5000 mAh battery, whereas the vanilla model could pack a 4800 mAh cell.

At the front, the Pro model will have a 6.7-inch 2K AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate support. The vanilla model will sport a 6.55-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Unlike the Pro model, which has a curved screen, the vanilla model will come with a flat display.

Other details like the price, RAM, storage options, etc., should be available in the coming days.
