OPPO Watch ECG Edition Announced with Curved AMOLED Screen, Oppo Smart TV to Launch in October

OPPO, at its annual Developer Conference, launched OPPO Watch ECG Edition. The latest smartwatch is available with 46mm size and comes with the same set of specifications as seen in the OPPO Watch. The new variant is available in stainless-steel option and comes with features like IPX8 certification, curved AMOLED screen, and more. Furthermore, the brand has also revealed some information about its upcoming Smart TV. OPPO has confirmed that its OPPO Smart TV will be launched in China in the month of October.

OPPO Watch ECG Edition price and availability

OPPO Watch ECG Edition price is CNY 2,499 (approx. INR 27.000) and will be available for purchase in China from September 28. The ECG Edition joins the standard OPPO Watch, which was launched in India at INR 14,990 for 41mm variant and INR 19,999 for 46mm option. There is no information about the OPPO Watch ECG Edition India pricing and availability.

OPPO Watch ECG Edition specifications

The major highlight of the smartwatch is the inclusion of electrocardiogram (ECG). Customers can check heart rhythm and more when they experience symptoms like a rapid or skipped heart beat.

The smartwatch flaunts a 1.91-inch curved AMOLED screen with a screen resolution of 402 x 476 pixels. The watch gets its power from the Qualcomm Snapdragon 3500 processor along with Apollo 3 co-processor. It comes equipped with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage.

The smartwatch runs on ColorOS Watch edition, which is base don Android. The device has an IPX8 rating, which makes it water and dust resistant. It comes with 430mAh battery that can deliver up to 40 hours of battery life and 21 days of usage on the Power Save mode. The OPPO Watch ECG Edition supports VOOC fast charging and comes with features like sleep monitoring, heart rate monitoring, menstrual monitoring, and sedentary reminders.

The smartwatch can also track different activities like walking, swimming, cycling, running, and more. The device comes with different sensors including 3-axis accelerometer sensor, gyroscope sensor, geomagnetic sensor, barometric pressure sensor, optical heart rate sensor, ECG sensor, and ambient light sensor.
