Oppo Watch Free has been launched in India as the latest smart wearable device from the brand. The Watch Free was launched in China back in November and today, the same made its debut in India alongside the Oppo Reno 7 series. The Oppo Watch Free is the company’s second smartwatch in India after the Oppo Watch from 2020.
Apart from the watches, the company also launched the Oppo Smart Band last year. The newly announced Oppo Watch Free comes with features like 14-day battery life, an AMOLED display, a SpO2 sensor, and much more. The Oppo Watch Free smartwatch is priced at Rs 5,999 and it will be available in sole colour options 一 Classic Black. In terms of availability, the smart wearable will be available soon via Flipkart. The sale date will be later.
Specifications and Features
The Oppo Watch Free sports a 1.64-inch AMOLED display with 280 x 456 resolution, 100% DCI-P3 coverage, and 2.5D glass. The wearable weighs just 32.6 with the strap and measures 46.0 x 29.7 x 10.6 mm. The silicone strap measures 19mm in terms of width and it can be swapped to any first-party or third-party strap. In terms of health-related features, there is support for a 24/7 heart rate monitor and SpO2 sensor for blood-oxygen level.
The Watch Free offers complete sleep tracking called “OSleep” including sleep reminder, snore monitoring, stay up reminder, monitoring sleep data, heart rate and SpO2 vitals, while you are sleeping. And, once you are up, the watch will show you the sleep report including deep sleep, light sleep, and more insights. Like all other smartwatches, the Watch Free does bring support for multiple sports modes including running, walking, rowing, elliptical machine, cycling, etc. Overall, the watch supports over 100 sports modes.
The Oppo Watch Free also supports multiple watch faces, including an AI-generated customizable face. In terms of battery life, the smart wearable is rated to last up to 14 days on a single charge and a quick 5-minute charge can last up to one whole day’s usage. Other features include smart notifications, 5ATM water-resistant rating, running course, music control, find my phone, weather update, etc.
