Everything Everywhere All at Once


The Academy Awards was a significant victory for this Oscar-nominated film. The film, which took home the award for best picture, follows Michelle Yeoh, a middle-aged Chinese-American immigrant, as she races against time to prevent the multiverse from being sucked into a black hole and destroyed.

7 of the 11 Oscars, including Best Picture, went to the movie. Best Supporting Actress and Best Supporting Actor awards went to Jamie Lee Curtis and Ke Huy Quan, respectively. Best Original Writing, Best Film Editing, and Best Director were also given. The first Asian woman to win Best Actress is Michelle Yeoh.

The Indian movie RRR received an Oscar nomination for its well-known song Naatu Naatu.
