OnePlus today announced that it will launch the OxygenOS 14 based on Android 14 on September 25. The Chinese smartphone maker claims that the OxygenOS 14 will be one of the first operating systems to be released based on Android 14. The new software version will bring a range of exciting features designed to enhance the user experience. With the launch of OxygenOS 14 happening by the end of this month, we can expect the stable release of the same to commence by the end of this month.
OxygenOS 14 Will Include Trinity Engine
OnePlus also has announced that it will be introducing “Trinity Engine”, its brand-new proprietary performance platform in the OxygenOS 14. By achieving greater synergy between hardware and software, the Trinity Engine will unleash the full potential of OnePlus handsets. This new performance platform will also address industry-wide challenges in pursuing higher power consumption efficiency, better multi-tasking capability, and smooth experience. The company says that the Trinity Engine will include six innovative technologies including CPU Vitalization, RAM Vitalization, ROM Vitalization, HyperBoost, HyperTouch, and HyperRendering.

To recall, OnePlus started rolling out the Android 14 beta update for the OnePlus 11 smartphone back in May. The company also released the second beta update for the device in June. In a recent development, the brand also has started recruiting closed beta testers to test the OxygenOS 14 on the OnePlus 11, OnePlus 11R, and the OnePlus Nord 3. The OxygenOS 14 closed beta testing will be available for the OnePlus 10 soon.
Considering that the brand has already started closed beta testing of Android 14, we can expect the company to release the public beta of Android 14 soon, followed by the stable update for the OnePlus 11, OnePlus 11R, and the OnePlus Nord 3 starting from September 25.
