Panasonic has expanded its portfolio in India with the launch of a new mirrorless camera called the Lumix BGH1. The newly launched mirrorless camera comes in a unique design, unlike the traditional cameras this one sports a cube shape and the company claims that this is the first Micro Four Thirds camera which is approved by Netflix as a primary camera. According to the report, Netflix has used this camera as a primary camera for shooting Netflix originals. The highlighted features of the camera are Live MOS image sensor, 4K at 59.96fps video recording support, an LCD display, and a lot more. Panasonic Lumix BGH1 is launched in India with a price tag of Rs 1,94,990 for the body. Like all the camera modules buyers need to purchase the lens separately. The newly launched mirrorless camera is available for sale across all the Panasonic brand shops and via the official website as well.

The Lumix BGH1 comes equipped with a high-sensitive 10.2-megapixel Live MOS sensor with dual native ISO technology for better low-light video performance. The camera uses a Micro Four Thirds lens mount which offers a dynamic range of 13 stops. The mirrorless camera is capable of shooting videos in 4:3 aspect ratio format and sRGB. It can click pictures up to 3,680×2,760 pixels resolution and that is a big number when it comes to resolution.

The Lumix BGH1 supports up to 4K video recording at 59.95fps with H.265/HEVC encoding. The mirrorless camera supports autofocus and manual focus both. The AF model comes with support for auto-detection and tracking subjects like face, eyes, body, and animal. The camera offers an ISO of up to 2,04,800 from 80.
