Panasonic has launched the Panasonic Toughbook S1 rugged tablet in India today. This new offering by Panasonic runs the Android 10 (Android Enterprise) version out of the box, which is claimed to enhance application safety, reliability, and management for businesses. The Panasonic Toughbook S1 comes with a 7-inch IPS LCD display that has WXGA resolution. The tablet has a barcode reader, NFC, and a compact build. Panasonic claims that this new tablet is designed to function across extreme conditions, ensuring efficiency and improved productivity. The Panasonic Toughbook S1 features a 7-inch IPS LCD display that has a WXGA 800 x 1200 pixels resolution. The display panel is claimed to be easily viewable in outdoors and it also can be used with gloves or an additional passive pen. The tablet is also drop-resistant (minimum 1.5 metres) and it can be operated in temperatures ranging from -20 to 50 degrees Celsius. Under the hood, the Toughbook S1 is powered by Qualcomm’s octa-core Snapdragon 660 SoC which is paired with Adreno 512 GPU, 4GB of RAM, and 64GB of eMMC 5.1 storage.
